Why does decoding fail?

Blur, glare, occlusion or extreme angles. Crop the image so the QR fills the frame.

Does it support camera scanning?

Current version supports paste / drop / upload images only — no live camera.

Where is history stored?

Browser localStorage, max 20 entries. Clearing browser data wipes it.

Are images uploaded?

No. jsQR runs entirely in the browser. Images never leave your device.
